Cookie and Device Storage Notice

Last updated 2 September 2026

How PASS uses browser/device storage needed for authentication, secure operation and user preferences.

Essential storage

PASS uses authentication/session and application storage required to keep authorised staff signed in, maintain secure application state and remember limited service preferences.

Essential storage is used to provide and secure the requested service rather than for behavioural advertising.

Analytics and advertising

PASS does not currently launch with behavioural advertising or a separate optional advertising tracker in the application code. If non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies are added later, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before they are enabled.

Managing browser storage

Browsers allow users to clear or restrict cookies and local storage. Blocking essential session storage may prevent staff sign-in or other core PASS functions from working correctly.
